  30. I guess I neglected to mention that I live in a town of 17,000 and there
  31. are no animation studios any closer than Seattle...which is a 2 to 3-hour
  32. drive from here.

  34. I did work at our local cable station (as an intern...i.e. no pay) for a
  35. while, where they use Amigas in the production of a daily news program. 
  36. I've got some contacts there, and the possibility to get in on a position
  37. that might open up in the area of graphics.  The time factor is the only
  38. uncertainty there, as far as when the position will open.  "Soon" has been
  39. used to the extreme, but I've learned better than to think it's gonna be
  40. REALLY soon.

  42. But even if I lucked out and got that job, I'd still want to do some
  43. freelancing to express myself and my creativity.
